Choice of Carrier

To encourage choice, any insurance company covering public employees or retirees in New Mexico is required to participate in the Alliance. They can offer managed care (HMO, PPO) or indemnity products with similar benefits. Carriers include:

• Presbyterian Health Plan

• United of Omaha
• American Medical Security, Inc.
